The UGLY? series comes from my Instagram account. With my phone I photograph things, scenes, banal details, without any appeal, they are just there, they surround us and we don’t see them, they are everywhere. Nobody finds them beautiful but I only see them. I don’t reframe them, I don’t retouch them, I don’t embellish them, they are instantaneous visions. I edit them in a series of 9 as they appear on my Instagram page. Each montage is numbered.
La série UGLY? vient de mon compte Instagram. Avec mon téléphone, je photographie des choses, des scènes, des détails banals, sans aucun attrait, ils sont juste là, ils nous entourent et on ne les voit pas, il y en a partout. Personne ne les trouve beaux mais je ne vois qu’eux. Je ne les recadre pas, ne les retouche pas, ne les embellit pas, ce sont des visions instantanées. Je les monte en série de 9 comme ils apparaissent sur ma page Instagram. Chaque montage est numéroté.
